Wilmington, DE (November 2, 2016) – Duncan PattersonCCIM, President of Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International, will be instructing a two-session online CCIM Course titled “Making Transactions Happen with Real Estate Gifting.”
 
The virtual sessions will take place on Monday, November 7 and Wednesday, November 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central time. 
 
The course will cover the topic of charitable gifting of real estate and the many opportunities it presents for real estate professionals who work with donors as well as the recipient charitable organizations. At the end of the course, students will be able to create client solutions, leverage the CCIM network and CCIM Foundation, understand the use of the real estate gifting process as a tool for disposition, and handle transactions that benefit both the donor and the charitable organization.
 
Patterson is part of Real Estate Gifting Realized, a not-for-profit charitable foundation administered by the CCIM Foundation that works to advance knowledge and professionalism in the field of commercial investment real estate. Real Estate Gifting Realized is run by a select team of professionals who are specialists from all real estate disciplines, from financial to compliance. Patterson will join fellow member, Mary Stark Hood, J.D., CFP ®, in teaching these sessions.

Latina will join several other local real estate professionals and developers on the panel, who will discuss updates and trends in the retail, industrial, office and multifamily markets in Delaware.

Latina specializes in retail and investment commercial real estate with a strong emphasis in the food and beverage sector. He has been named several times to the “Dozens” National Sales Award, which includes the top 5% of producing brokers nationwide. He has been awarded Delaware Today Magazine’s Five Star Real Estate Award for Customer Service every year consecutively since 2010. Wilmington, DE (November 6, 2014) – Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International Principal Greg Ellis, CCIM, has been invited to be a panelist at a University of Delaware Institute for Public Administrative Workshop on Friday, November 21, 2014.

Ellis, who has worked on several redevelopment projects during his nineteen years in commercial real estate, will join two other local panelists to discuss "market-ready" redevelopment, transportation improvement districts, and downtown development districts.

The Workshop will be held at the UD Paradee Center at 69 Transportation Circle in Dover, DE from 9 AM to 12 PM. Registration is due November 14 with a fee of $40.
