Wilm, DE (April 27, 2017) – Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International Principal Chris Moore has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by CCIM Institute. The designation was awarded during CCIM Institute's annual Governance Meeting April 1 – 5 in Chicago, IL.

Moore was among the 164 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Institute's Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process. Patterson-Woods President, Duncan Patterson, CCIM, who also attended the meeting, pinned Moore during the New Designee Pinning Ceremony.

"The CCIM training and tools give me the ability to build sophisticated financial models to help clients feel confident in their decisions to acquire, hold, sell and reinvest their hard earned dollars in the commercial real estate market," said Moore. "The successful completion of the CCIM designation allows new clients to have confidence that their CCIM agent has demonstrated persistence, undergone a rigorous financial, market analysis, and overall commercial real estate training program so they can apply those skills on their client's behalf."

To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.

Moore joined Patterson-Woods in 2014, specializing in industrial and investment properties. In 2017, he became a Principal with the company. In addition to CCIM, Moore is a member of CIRC, a non-profit organization which brings together members of the Delaware Valley Community from a variety of real estate fields.
